Our Story
Michael, known to many as Mike, has dedicated numerous years to the art of barbering. His journey began in the early 1990s in Canóvanas, Puerto Rico, where he honed his skills and built a solid foundation in the craft. In 2009, seeking new opportunities, Mike relocated to Philadelphia, PA, where he continued his profession at a barbershop in Northeast Philadelphia.
Driven by a dream to establish his own business, Mike channeled his ambition and, after considerable prayer and determination, became the proud owner of Distinguished Barber Shop in 2018. His venture flourished, reflecting his passion and commitment to excellence.
By 2023, with a vision to expand his services, Mike introduced mobile barbering in Florida, bringing his expertise directly to his clients. In January 2024, he and his family moved to Ocala, Florida, where he launched his new mobile barbering business, ready to cater to the needs of his customers with unmatched convenience and dedication.
Mike’s love for barbering and commitment to outstanding customer service remain at the heart of his work. Through his mobile services, he continues to provide top-quality barbering, traveling to his clients and offering the convenience they deserve.
